Dana’s approach is grounded in fostering connection and creating a sense of safety. With compassion and a deep appreciation of life’s challenges, she supports clients explore and address the underlying causes of emotional patterns and difficulties.
In a warm, non-judgmental space, clients are guided to gain insight into their experiences and gently explore their emotions. Together, we will discover practical strategies to navigate difficult thoughts and feelings, while building greater self-understanding, resilience, and a sense of connection.
Working from a trauma-informed framework, Dana prioritises creating a safe and supportive environment where trust can develop. By listening deeply and working collaboratively, she helps clients make sense of their experiences and move towards meaningful, lasting change.
Dana has extensive experience working with children, young people, and their families, many of whom have faced trauma, social challenges, and emotional difficulties. Her professional background includes roles as a Registered Psychologist, School Psychologist, Teacher, and School Wellbeing Leader, giving her a broad and deep understanding of supporting individuals through diverse challenges.
With compassion and a non-shaming perspective, Dana helps individuals recognize their existing strengths, skills, and resources.She empowers individuals to cultivate a sense of control, safety, and belonging. Her genuine and inclusive approach ensures that every client feels heard, valued, and supported on their journey toward growth and well-being.
Dana specializes in supporting young people who are navigating the challenges of trauma. She is passionate about supporting individuals and their families through difficult times, fostering growth and healing along the way.
Dana's compassionate approach is grounded in understanding and respect. She brings extensive experience working with individuals from First Nations communities. She has a particular focus on addressing school refusal.
